Spiral Belting
This is the conveyor belt that moves your products around the spiral system, this is a vital part of the machine and it’s imperative to keep at least 10 metres of conveyor belt in stores in case of any belt snapping or breaking. This is a long lead time item meaning any breakdown will cause production quotas not to be met for the entire duration of manufacture and delivery of the part.
Spiral Conveyor Belts are specialist items, as they collapse on the inside edge to allow the belt to turn and travel within the spiral system – taking into consideration the collapsed radius, total machine belt length and width as well as the belt’s mesh to effectively move delicate or heavy (or anything in between) products through the freezing or cooling process. Getting this wrong can have major negative impacts and can cause long term and costly damage to the spiral system and your production.
For part replacement, or to keep as spare, the conveyor belt will need to match the existing belt in the system to allow the 2 to be joined. We can also supply a full replacement with the relevant sprockets if needed, as well as Spiral Conveyor Belt for Direct Drive Systems.
